Hello, visitor! My name is Sami. I like to knit and sometimes post about that, though mostly I just post fandom stuff--homestuck, 30 Rock, Sherlock, Avengers... I should warn you that I have my share of Big Important Opinions about Things That Matter (social justice is what I'm saying). I guess I should, for the sake of perspective, mention that I am a 16-year-old white straight cisgender teenage girl living in Southern California and I'm not super culturally aware, but I try very hard to keep informed and ask questions when I need to. Remember that tutorial I did last summer on dyeing yarn with Kool Aid ice cubes? Yesterday, my two sons and I did some more dyeing. They dyed the yarn themselves knowing I’ll knit it up into a new winter hat for them.
Bailey chose yellow food coloring, Kool Aid Mixed Berry, KA Black Cherry and KA Cherry for his yarn.
Silas chose green food coloring, Kool Aid Mixed Berry, KA Peach-Mango an KA Lemon-Lime for his yarn.
