My little brother is in a four-week space camp program. On the second week, at the end of camp, one of the counselors asked, “What does everyone want to be next week?”

All the kids shouted—“ASTRONAAAAUT!!”

—except for one little girl, who squeaked, “A princess!”

I lost a tooth today, then I lost the tooth that I lost. Ironic, isn’t it? — A much younger me, in a letter to the Tooth Fairy. Whoever taught this little girl the word “ironic” surely regretted that decision.
